Are sub-folders an option in confluence?

Zorica Neckovic February 16, 2022

When a page is created, and items are added below it. Is there an option to move those multiple sub-sites/files or whatever the correct label is into a folder i.e. nesting options to minimise having to scroll down the page?

Hi @Zorica Neckovic

It is termed as Parent Page and Child Pages in Confluence

Thanks

Thank you Pramodh.

So if I click on the '+' and create a child page option , I should then then be able to place all of the content under the one child page i.e.

>CP1 (Child Page)

  • CSI
  • CS2
  • CS4

That was previously under the Parent Page?

C1 is the parent page and CP1 is the child page

CS1 CS2 CS4 .. are the pages that have the same hierarchy as C1

So if you click on "+" symbol on C1 it will create a child page under C1

@Zorica Neckovic

If you use page templates, you could check out my team's free app Create From Template Pro. It's like the Create from Template macro, but with the added ability to set under which page the new page should be created. This is a great way to easily reinforce for team members the parent/child page under which new pages of a certain type should go.
