Hi Community,

I am looking for a tool/ macro which allows GDPR compliant appointment scheduling within the company.

The employees should be able to book timeslots of 15 minutes and if their name has been entered, the slot should be displayed in grey and the name should not be visible to third parties. What remains are all timeslots that are not booked.

Is it possible to realize something like this with a tool/macro?

Greetings Christian

I cannot think of a way to do this in Confluence, even after reaching for Team Calendars to do most of the calendar display work.

I think it's quite a long way outside what a wiki is for and I'd be looking to write an app to do it, rather than try to get a handful of macros and scripting together.  It might actually be easier in Jira (one issue per person with validators to stop them creating another, obscured fields for people, and so-on)

But whatever Atlassian application I'm thinking of, I can't work out anything clean and simple, with the biggest problem being that hiding that someone is responsible for something is the antithesis of collaboration and hence quite hard to achieve in tools designed for collaboration.

I am not saying this is a bad idea, or impossible.  Just that Atlassian tools (and other collaboration tools) probably aren't a good platform for them, I'd be looking at dedicated appointment systems such as the ones GPs use
