I would like to link to an anchor created on a different page in the same space. I followed the documentation here.
The anchor link on the first page is #GlobalTags . This works on this page when clicked from a manually created index.
When I go to the second page, I've tried several different formats (see below) and none of them work.
Getting Started with Dovetail#GlobalTags
GettingStartedwithDovetail#GlobalTags
TECH:GettingStartedwithDovetail#GlobalTags
TECH:Getting Started with Dovetail#GlobalTags
They all give an error that the link is not valid.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
@Misty Leiter The documentation page that you linked to contains the instructions for Data Center and Server, but you indicated that you are using Confluence Cloud.
Try following the instructions on this page (https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-links-and-anchors/ ) and let us know if you still have any issues.
I use a header tag instead of the anchor, then I am able to reference them from other pages.
