I am trying to allow users that have access to confluence only to see a list of outstanding issues from Jira. This is a filtered list that shows only specific statuses and issue types tied to a particluar project. I have permission schema to allow users that are in user group for confluence only users to allow them to browse projects. This is still not working. I was hoping to avoid having to allow anonymous access. Any suggestions?
Though I do not want to use this as a solution either when I have granted public access to browse projects, confluence-only users are still receiving the error, "JIRA project doesn't exist or you don't have permission to view it."
If the users have browse access to the Jira project then they should be able to see and open the Jira issues. Are you saying that is not the case? If the are not licensed as a Jira user and don’t have browse access then they will not be able to see/access the issue.
