Can someone help me? I had put a lot of work into confluence only to discover that after I returned from the holidays, it was all deleted? I can still log in but my content is gone.
I took a closer look at your site. It appears that the site had been on a Free plan, and then started a Standard evaluation of Confluence Cloud on 13 Nov 2023. From there it appears the site reached the next months billing cycle without valid payment details. Confluence was suspended on 12 Dec, and deactivated 2 weeks later on 27 Dec. I can see that we sent multiple deactivation emails to you to notify you about this change.
Unfortunately, the data within trial sites is only retained 15 days per our Data retention period. From what I can see, we no longer have any backups of the data that was in Confluence from that time frame. If you happened to create a site backup of Confluence and download that, then you could use this a means to restore your data. But short of that method, I do not know of another way to restore the data you might have had within Confluence at that time.
Hello @Jessica Gremillion
Are there any other users that have administrator access to your Confluence instance? Have you checked with them to see if they deleted the content?
You said all the content is gone. Are you talking about pages or spaces or both? If just pages, are the spaces still accessible? If the spaces are still accessible do they pages from other people in them?
If the space still exists did you check Space Settings > Manage Content to see if the content had been Hidden or Restricted? And also check the Trash bucket there within the space?
If the space itself that held the content is gone, are there still other spaces in the instance with content?

Just the pages are gone - everything that was in the confluence wiki. When I log in as admin I see the same users in there, so I know I'm in the right place. But the confluence stuff is gone. I saw a button to re-activate confluence so I tried that, hoping my old content would appear, but it's now just showing the default welcome page.

Before you clicked the "re-activate" button were you able to actually access Confluence at
https://<yourURL>/wiki
...and see a list of spaces?
I ask because if you found a "re-activate" button that would suggest that perhaps the Confluence product subscription itself was deactivated.
I think at this point you are going to need help from the Atlassian team. Since you are on the Free subscription (according to your post tags) and can't open a support case, I am tagging your post to bring it to their attention

Hi @Jessica Gremillion ~ have you checked the Trash (Space Settings > Manage Content > Trash)? You can restore if it hasn't been purged...
