After we have upgraded to Confluence 6.15.10, the backup stopped working

Kenneth Abutan March 5, 2020

We have upgraded our Confluence server almost a year ago and we would like to migrate now to the cloud version. The problem is we couldn't generate a backup and we have also noticed that the scheduled backup stopped working. Looking at the backup administration, there are history of scheduled backup but we couldn't find where the backups are being stored.

Hi,

depending on the size of your instance, you might run into a timeout when creating a backup manually.

By default backups are created inside the backup folder of your Conflunce data directory.

Hi JP,

Thanks for the reply.

Right, that export from the web even totally crashed the web.

About the default scheduled backup, it stopped working after the upgrade and I'm trying to get that backup working again but no luck.

Regards,

KA
