After my company is approved and visible on ServiceChannel, how do clients actually find and add us?

My company has been fully approved on ServiceChannel and our profile is marked as active/visible.

 

I would like to understand clearly:

 

  • How do clients discover new service providers once they are approved?
  • Is visibility alone enough, or must the client manually add us to their Source List?
  • Are there any actions a provider can take inside ServiceChannel to request being added by clients?
  • Is there any typical timeline for receiving work orders after becoming visible?

 

 

I want to confirm whether ServiceChannel is a passive platform after approval, or if there are specific best practices to increase client engagement.

If ServiceChannel does not provide any built-in way for approved providers to reach or request clients, then what is the recommended path for newly approved providers to actually start receiving work?

 

Specifically:

 

  • Is client outreach outside the platform the only option?
  • Are there any official best practices ServiceChannel recommends to help providers get added to Source Lists?
  • From ServiceChannel’s perspective, what differentiates providers who receive work orders quickly from those who do not?
