Hello,

From my understanding, you're working with a macro, and you need our help to add something to it?

It's not clear exactly what you have attempted to do, and what needs to be added. Could you share any screenshots with us of the issue you're having, and what you read about what needs to be added?

Also if you can tell us what version of Confluence you're using, that will be helpful.

Regards,

Shannon

Hi shannon,

Thank u for replying. we are currently using 5.4.4 and below is what we get below. usually we should have get some chart and just add in the values that we want. in the guide just said that it should be working when we put the xml url from external, then save and edit the page and add the macro. :)

Thank you for showing me that.

  1. What version of Jira are you running?
  2. You would need to add the Jira URL to your Confluence admin and register the URL for external gadgets. Have a look at Registering External Gadgets. Perhaps this is what you were saying needs to be added?
  3. Are you able to access Jira using the same username in Confluence you were using to try to add the gadget?

Shannon

Hi Hani,

Thank you for verifying - it wasn't clear if you added it before or after I mentioned it.

Confluence 5.4.4 has been End of Life since 2015 and is not compatible with Jira 7.8.1.

You'll want to compare your AppLinks version on the Compatibility Matrix, in order to see what version you need to upgrade Confluence to.

To do this, you can go to Manage Add-ons, filter on All Add-ons and search for Applinks:

You can see here, I am using version 5.4.4 on my instance.

Follow Upgrading Confluence for more information on how to upgrade.

Let me know if you hav any questions!

Regards,

Shannon
