Hi,

I am a bit late to the party, but you can do this if you have Scroll PDF Exporter app installed.

Insert a hidden Page Properties macro in your page and use your Classification levels as one of the properties. In the app preferences, you can insert placeholders into your export template (header, footer, title page etc.). When you export the page, you will get your classification level where the placeholder was.

What you can also do (which I have not done - one for the future), is include in your Page Properties macro, all the information you want in an ISMS document control matrix. Create a new page and add in the Page Properties table and it will report on these values.

Hi!

Yes. We need a solution that helps us comply with the the ISO 27001 Annex A-control regarding classification and labeling of information. It is not sufficient that the classification level is visible in Confluence, it has to be visible if a user wants to export the document to Word, PDF or any other format.

I was hoping I could be able to specify some document rules  that made me able to:

  • Choose the placement of the classification (header or/and footer, left/center or right allignment)
  • Choose the color of the text
  • Insert a text that is visible prior or after the classification level (which is automatically added after classifying the document). Example: Classified *level*
  • "Nice to have": opportunity to add reference to a article (law)

I am crossing my fingers 😊 Thank you in advance!

Hi Lene,

It's not possible in Confluence Cloud to customize your pages to this degree. Per our documentation on the Functional Differences in Confluence Cloud from Confluence Server:

On Atlassian Cloud, Confluence uses a custom theme, which cannot be modified or updated using custom HTML or CSS (not supported). For more information on custom themes in Confluence Cloud, refer to  Working with Themes . Confluence Cloud Developer community: You can also create your own theme for Confluence Cloud. Check out the  Theme page  in our Confluence Cloud Developer documentation.

Otherwise, you can create your own template, but you would only have control over the page content, not the way it appears.

I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions about this.

Regards,

Shannon

Hi Lene,

Can you explain a bit how you would like this to work? Do you have any examples you can provide about how you want it to look?

Regards,

Shannon
