Hello,
I would like to add an 'excerpt' macro within table cells. However, upon adding the 'embed' element, it jumps to just after and outside the table.
Thanks!
Glenn
Hi @Glenn Wark ,
okay, that makes sense now. I was about to write that this macro isn't supported within table cells, but the Expand macro actually is. As for the Excerpt macro this indeed is not supported within table cells in the new editor. And instead of just doing nothing, it adds the macro outside of the table.
There's a ticket that you can follow to see if and when this functionality is implemented: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-78513 (it contains all kinds of nesting of macros within macros (with tables being considered macros too)
I hope that helps and sorry that I don't have a positive answer for you.
Greetings
Philipp
No worries, I appreciate the reply and the information you supplied. I'll follow the ticket you mentioned.
Thanks!

Perfect. If the answer was helpful, I would appreciate if you could accept it as answer. That way, people looking for the same info would have it easier to find this and not have to look further. :-)

Hi @Glenn Wark ,
this is strange and it should work as you intent to. Are we talking about a normal table and the default embed macro?
Which browser are you using and have you tried using a different browser?
Greetings

Hi Philipp, thanks for the reply. My apologies, I mistyped, it was an 'excerpt' macro I was trying to add to a table cell. i.e. the source for an 'excerpt'. I've updated my question as such.
