Hello @Marc Solomon
Since this is a user community it is not the best method for submitting the a feature request to Atlassian.
Within Confluence under the Help button (near your avatar in the upper right corner) you will find a Provide Feedback option. Feedback provided in that manner goes straight to Atlassian.

After seeing your post, I tested the app we’re currently developing and was able to achieve exactly what you described.
I’ve created a ready-to-use template based on your scenario. You can install it from the app’s Library and add it directly to your Confluence page.

Hi Marc,
Just wanted let you know that we have a very similar use case at my company, albeit currently on a data center instance. We ended up creating a custom macro displaying sort of a permission summary at the top of particularly sensitive pages to make it easier to ensure that only the right people have access.
In theory, it should be possible to implement a custom forge macro with the same functionality for Confluence Cloud.
