Hi
I took a sabbatical from my business and missed the emails about the Confluence account being deactivated. It was in the last three months - does anyone know how I can get it reinstated?
Thanks
Kerry
Hello @Kerry Howard
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Were you using a free subscription to Confluence? If so, free subscriptions may be deactivated after 120 consecutive days of inactivity. If you were using a paid subscription those may be deactivated if payment fails and is not resolved.
Multiple emails will be sent to the Organization Admins warning of the deactivation in either case. When the subscription is actually deactivated another email is sent to state that is occurring and stating the reason for deactivation.
Do you still have those emails?
After deactivation there is a grace period during which the subscription may be reactivated. If that is possible for your site, you can try following the guidance here:
https://support.atlassian.com/subscriptions-and-billing/docs/reactivate-a-subscription/
If the grace period can be as short as 15 days or as long as 60, depending on the type of subscription you had. After that grace period expires your data is permanently deleted. Email is sent when that action occurs also. At that point it is unrecoverable.
Do you have the email stating that your data is going to be deleted?
If you want to work directly with Atlassian on this, you can reach out to the Billing, Licensing, and Pricing support team by completing the form at
