How can I prevent from users getting into our tenant/space?
We use a standard license, but when a new (uninvited) user joins, they are immediately placed on the active users which is licensed ...
I would want to configure the access rights so that only invited users can join.
Is this possible?
Thanks in advance
Tom
You may have the option New users have access to this product turned on. If that is the case, turn off that option to restrict new users to invitiation only.

The way people are added to spaces all depends on how your user directories have been set up.
I am a bit confused by what you mean by "join". I am probably misreading it, but it feels like you think there is a difference between "joining" and "getting access to Confluence"?
But that probably doesn't change my initial answer!
If the need is "people invited or added to Confluence as an active user get access to Confluence in general, but we do not want them to be able to see or use spaces X, Y or Z until specifically added to them", then the answer is to look at the space permissions.
You will probably find that they have a rule that says something like "Group: Confluence-users can view/edit/comment in this space".
Confluence-users is the group I use to say "people in this group can use confluence (effectively, they are licenced users)". If you use the "can use confluence" group in your space permissions, then anyone who can use confluence will get the right to use the space.
So the short answer is "remove the can-use-confluence group from your space permissions"
