I've been looking at the documentation, but haven't managed to find an answer for this as yet.
Within Confluence, is it possible to add in a macro for the TOC of another page?
I have a main page that has 4 child pages and I would like to list the TOC of EVERYTHING as one table on the main page and further down just list the TOC of the child pages.
There doesn't seem to be a macro available for child TOC however.
Ended up resolving this in a round about way...
Added an Excerpt section on each of the child pages and placed the TOC in there.
Then included the Excerpt on the main page.
This no longer seems to work. When I save the page, the TOC in the excerpt doesn't even display on the page, let alone on the other page where the Insert Excerpt macro is used.

If it doesn't work on the page itself, then it will never pull through to any other page.
Make sure the original TOC is correct and reading the headings you want it to before trying to reference it elsewhere.

It works fine in Edit mode. It's when I save the page that it disappears. It's a brain dead TOC with just a handful of H1s. I'll keep trying on various pages but it may be a temporary hiccup as I lost all object handles (little box you click to select the 'thing' such as a table, paragraph, etc) on another page and no matter what I did, they wouldn't reappear even though every other page worked. Changing browsers didn't do anything either.
I miss on-prem. This cloud-only route...sigh.
