Hi all,
We are in the process of reformatting our confluence space and are looking to apply a standard set of formatting to all of our content.
Because our content was created by many different people, we are running into the issue of our formatting being widely varied and manually reformatting all of our content into a standard format is proving to be very time intensive.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a tool or app where we can apply a standard set of formatting (ie. headings, sub headings, etc) to multiple (hundreds) of confluence pages?
Hi @Dan Foster ,
I can only say "good luck" 😅
This would probably need some advanced REST API calls and custom scripting to get and reformat all content into the same format.
You could try out some Marketplace solutions, such as Storage Format Editor for Confluence FREE, but I've never actually worked with this (only saw the solution itself) so you might want to contact the vendor to see if the app could help.
What you can also try out is using Rovo. Maybe design one page that contains the styles/format you'd like to have and point Rovo to at least pull pages that don't match the format. 👀
In any case, it would definitelly be interesting to hear more if you (or anyone else) manage to clean up documentation by using this or any other solution.
Cheers,
Tobi
