3 text fields in the same record structure have been behaving differently across different views

Dear team,

this concerns the Confluence database macro.

For existent records:

For the past few days, 3 text fields in the same record structure have been behaving differently across different views within the same database.

All 3 text fields are displayed completely in both views, as well as in side panel.

But:

- In the “Table” view, all 3 text fields can be edited in the side panel AND directly in table

- In the “Board” view, only 1 of the 3 text fields can be edited in the side panel.

For new records:

Same behavior within the both views while creation of records.

- In the “Table” view, all 3 text fields can be filled in with the side panel AND directly in table

- In the “Board” view, only 1 of the 3 text fields can be filled in with the side panel.

It feels like some text fields are read-only in "Board" view. But as I know this is not a possible feature ...

Yes,

- its are all the same text-type fields.

- this behavior is new since a few days

Thank you for some hints in advance

Hi @Carsten Sauter welcome to the community!  I took a look on Atlassian's Jira Site and didn't find anything related.

If you clear out the data and add something else back, does it work as you expect?  Does the browser make a difference? (Edge vs Chrome).  If you have three other fields, do you get similar behavior?

I'm going to request Atlassian Support weigh in on this issue.  They'll probably want to get permission to look at your specific database if you don't have steps to recreate the issue.  As you're the Product Admin, you can create a new Work Item for them if you don't hear back from them.

Hope that helps.

Hi Dan,

thank you very much.

I got the JST-1310246 from Atlassian Support and they are on the track.

Have a nice day ahead

Carsten
