WEEK 3️⃣ OF SKIP THE BLANK PAGE MONTH: March 19 challenge!

This is the third and final installment with the one and only @Rob Hean! Hopefully you caught his first look video and will catch second look video with Confluence PM later this week in Skip the Blank Page month.

On March 19, Rob will host the first-of-its-kind hands-on workshop for you to learn how to create and edit with Rovo in your own demo site. You’ll:

  • Have a safe environment to try prompts, compare drafts, and ask questions in real time, so you can see how AI-powered creation and editing fits into your team’s day-to-day work

  • Leave with practical, hands-on experience using create with Rovo in Confluence, as well as concrete ideas for how to use it to speed up content creation and collaboration

  • Have your own demo site pre-populated with dummy data for you to experiment with for 90 days after this class.

@Mindy Park Should I have already received the provision email, or will I get it closer to the 19th? I signed up on 12 February and want to make sure I haven't deleted the provision email in error.

@Barbara Szczesniak I just got my invite to an inbox this morning, so I'm guessing everyone who registered will get an invite today or in the upcoming days 👀

I got mine after finishing work last night. Based on step 4 above, I guess this is related to the email I got 2 minutes prior to the invite:

Admin notification: JSM Access is turned on for one-atlas-mhse.atlassian.net/wiki

@Mindy Park I got another email last night: Bundled Changes for your product Jira

This is also for the demo site. Will this site be removed after the session?

Hi Folks!

If you registered for the workshop in February, you should have received your site on or around March 11.

If you registered in March, stay tuned. I will submit March registrations for site procurement on March 14.

Demo sites will be available for 90 days after issue date.

Should we already see the Create with Rovo option after clicking Create?
I am in the test site, but don't see the option shown in the Loom video.
Thanks!

@Kelsey Reed Are you in a Confluence space when you click + Create? Since this is Create in Confluence, I believe you have to be in Confluence.

If you open Confluence in the test site and then open the One Atlassian space, it explains the test site. If you go to the Confluence page in the space, it gives an overview of all of the Confluence spaces in the site.

I received 3 unexpected emails.  I was hoping you could confirm whether or not they are all related to the training scheduled for this morning?

1. received 3/11 titled "Action requested: provision-fy26-2-bot invited you to join your team in one-atlas-cljv 👋"

2. received 3/11 titled "Action required: You’re invited to join your team 👋"

3. received 3/12 titled "Bundled changes for your product Jira"

@Chris Brown I have deleted my invite email, so I'm not sure which of #1 and #2 you should use for the steps in For registrants: How to find and log into your demo site on March 19th in the post. I do know that I got only 1 email, though.

I did also get your #3 email, but I figured it is related to this demo site, so I ignored it.

I deleted my emails as well, looked like SPAM - didn't realize it was for this workshop

I clicked on the Accept Invite for "You've been invited to join your team" but it doesn't prompt a code, it  takes me directly to my normal site. I watched the Loom video but everything after clicking the Accept Invite button is different for me. I tried checking "switch workspace" but no test area.

Apologies for doing this so late, I thought the invite email was spam originally so I didn't catch it a few days ago.

Thanks for the setup portion before the class, didn't realize I need to use the "switch sites" button on the left instead of "switch workspace" button on the right :)

I really enjoyed the session. I am excited to learn that, not only do I have the demo site for 90 days, but I can also invite others in my company to the site where we can try things together before we try them in our own live site.

I plan to use Create with Rovo to make whiteboards with process flow diagrams from the procedures I've written in my Confluence pages. Hope to make swim lane diagrams, since different steps procedures are done by different roles in our application.

Definitely will share this with my team to utilize Rovo in our workflow. Great work from Rob and the teams 👏

Wasn't sure what to expect but the demo site setup changed everything. You're not watching someone else's Confluence space it's yours, with real data, and you're actually breaking things and fixing them in real time. That's the difference between watching a cooking show and actually burning the onions yourself.

The database creation was the highlight taking a messy requirements page and telling Rovo "you're a project manager, here's the page, build me something I can track work in" and watching it structure everything from scratch. That's an afternoon of manual work gone in seconds.

Breakout rooms sealed it. Different scenario per room meant you couldn't coast on what Rob already showed you had to actually think about prompting for YOUR use case. That's where TCREI went from a slide bullet point to something that genuinely clicks.

P.S. — My preview refused to load the entire session. Hard refresh. Soft refresh. Manifesting. Nothing. I was just vibing with a loading spinner. Truly the hands-on experience I deserved. 😅

@Anamika Soni really happy you enjoyed the session! Thank you for the feedback. Some other breakout groups were struggling with databases loading - here are all the example scenarios if you'd like to try something else :)

also "vibing with the loading spinner" 😆 there is a vibe to it, I agree

The demo site format is genuinely one of the better ways I've seen a tool walkthrough done. Most webinars are "watch someone else do it and feel inspired for 48 hours before forgetting." This one had you actually in Confluence, prompting Rovo yourself, making mistakes, figuring it out that's where learning sticks.

Breakout rooms were clever too each group got a different scenario so you couldn't just copy what Rob demoed. You had to actually think through the prompt yourself.

What stood out most was how Rovo handles iteration. You don't have to nail it first try remove a column, restructure a view, add RAG indicators it just keeps going. That changes how you think about using it daily.

Worth every minute. Rob and the team built something that actually teaches rather than just demos.

P.S. — Shoutout to whoever was asking mid-session if they could add their whole team. Respect the multitasking hustle. 😄

I had to jump out in the middle of the session yesterday, unfortunately, but I really appreciate you sharing the workshop scenarios here 🙌

I actually spent some time yesterday experimenting with different AIs and "Create with Rovo", trying out multiple prompts for a single use case, and it ended up generating a really solid whiteboard along with diagrams to support my research.

In the end, I could definitely relate to what Rob mentioned about “using Rovo inside Rovo” 😅
