@Varsha Patel I have yet to hear anyone like the new look as they see it, and it would be beneficial to allow selecting the old style interface or the new, instead of doing the classic Atlassian - just forcing it on clients who don't want it and didn't ask for it..

A lot of the things you have done lately, is just form/style over function, actually degrading the service and it's usability, making changes just for the sake of it, and i am far from alone in this.
See Tina's comment above for example.

Your approach to customer feedback, or specifically, the complete ignorance of it, is why I stopped providing it, and also gone for other products and workflows where possible.

We, the users, don't like being patted on the head and being told - we know better than you do, so hush, and go away now, and just keep paying...

This latest move is a usability/navigation disaster, and I can see it coming back to bite..

Lots of good feedback here and I totally agree with what others are saying after testing the new navigation for the past week. It's made Confluence less efficient for me to use, which should never be the desired outcome. Please provide us with a way to stay on the old navigation until you've more thoroughly tested the new experience. At the very least, I'd like to be able to disable the "Show More" button so that the sidebar menu items are visible at all times.

With the new update the resize image seems to be gone, how do I resize an image?  This is when its Inline with text.  If it's not inline it works.

@Lisa Dale
Apparently, you don't use any normal controls, but instead use the blue bars on left and right of the image to drag them to "squish" the image to size, instead of setting a prefixed size, or, click on the "non-input field" of the size, which is actually an input field, and set the image size, then press enter (it's so obvious - not..) .

It's actually getting to the point where i am done with Confluence and Jira (Atlassian....), as the guys has apparently just stopped listening to the customers, and adopted an arrogant approach to us instead...

Oh well...

@Chris Sprucefield That works if the image isn't inline with text - if it's inline there is no blue bar :(

@Lisa Dale
That's because of the mode inline, where it will be forced to fit to the line height of the text.
You have to either deselect the inline mode, or, change font size.

You USED to be able to do these things in the past like cloud in old editor, server or datacenter, but everything in the new cloud seems to be a downgrade these days, going for the worse.

Like others,  I totally agree with what others are saying after testing the new navigation - it definitely is less efficient and cluttered. The old navigation is 150% better - please enable the possibility to keep the old navigation. The new sidebar has become cluttered and hard to find what one is needing.

I have to adapt user and group permissions as well as other space settings a lot. In the new navigation this takes an extra click (to get to "Space Settings"). I don't understand, what exactly has been simplified? No one was bothered by some elements of site-wide navigation being in the top bar. At least I would think so? In Jira it is even more horrendous, hiding all my queues in menus I have to first click open. I would like for this feature to be opt-in, not a default for everyone. I can already hear the groan going through the office when this becomes the standard for everyone.

The new navigation and layout is terrible and based on the responses, that seems to be the majority consensus. Just to name a few of the poor "improvements":

-Hiding all the page labels that are needed for the meta data to see what is there.

-Removing the individual space's "All Content" link, which had allowed seeing all content changes inside the space.

-Moving things from a the top banner into the sidebar which does NOT result in removing the top banner, but instead still leaves it there with just with an oversized search bar while also cluttering up even more what was an already cluttered side bar.

Does Atlassian even check with users to find what it is they actually want or dislike before removing things or are the decision makers just throwing darts at a board to see what they will do next?

I do have to agree with the sentiment above, we really need an option to view the old.  This interface is difficult to work with. Everything is so close together it's hard to see and work with.
