Hey everyone!

The Whiteboard feature in Confluence, brings an interactive and collaborative space for teams to brainstorm, plan, and visualize ideas effortlessly. But how can we make the most of this tool in real-world scenarios?

Some potential use cases that come to mind:

  • Brainstorming Sessions – Quickly map out ideas and link them directly to Jira issues or Confluence pages.
  • Sprint Planning & Retrospectives – Visualize sprints, prioritize tasks, and conduct engaging retros.
  • Project Roadmaps – Drag and drop elements to structure a high-level roadmap for projects.
  • Process Mapping & Workflows – Create flowcharts or diagrams to standardize processes.
  • Team Icebreakers & Workshops – Run fun, engaging exercises for team collaboration.

What do you think? Have you explored the Atlassian Whiteboard yet? How do you see it benefiting your team? Share your thoughts and experiences!

I think it is a really versitile tool, and whilst its not for everyone, I like it. The workflow designs and mapping of tasks is quite amazing.

I completely agree with @Kiam Venter  - it's such a versatile tool with a lot of useful features. Personally, I’ve really enjoyed using it for online brainstorming sessions and team retros. Even when the team is remote, there’s something great about being able to collaborate on the same whiteboard in real time ☺️
