Possibility to decide which space new page is create

Currently field type entry has only possibilities Fixed and dynamic

If you choose dynamic and create new page it will always create page to same place.

I would like to achieve a possibility to create page whatever space and under whatever parent in Confluence.

I would guess there are two options

- Enhance the create page dialog to ask also the wanted space and parent
- Improve create database (Entry) macro to function better than it does today
- Also predefined "create database macro" that you could add to page templates would be super good.

Databases has a lot of potential but I have not seen lot of development/ improvements since it has been introduced.

If you're referring to Databases creating new pages when a new row is inserted...
I tried creating a page template with predefined space and parent info, and then using the 'create new page from template' database option, but unfortunately the template settings didn't get applied to new pages created when adding database rows (the same template settings did work correctly when used during manual page creation).
However that was quite a while back and I'm no longer using Confluence (it was a pilot project, lack of Confluence Database functionality killed the pilot) so apologies if my memory is hazy... if this comment makes no sense, I'd advise ignoring it. :)
Also worth checking whether the database 'create new page from template' function has been fixed in the interim, if so it might well meet your requirements.  If there is no longer a 'create new page from template' option, well then I'd guess it wasn't fixable!

@Kovalainen Arto If you select the "Fixed" location option for page creation, you should be able to select a specific parent page that you want pages to be created under. The space overview page is included as an option here. Does that work for your use case?
