Hi all, does anyone use databases to track decisions?

The decision report macro tracks decisions in our confluence space but it only displays the page and decision with no other information. I'd like to track owners, dates, etc. So a database would be great, but is there any way to automatically populate it with a macro? Or do I have to manually track and insert them into the database?

Hi Marina,
Why don't you use Jira to track decisions?
A decision is a trigger for tasks and actions, I think it is preferable to use Jira in this use case.

@Tami Dubi Because I want a report with decisions in Confluence and not all of them lead to Jira tasks.

Yes I'm using it for RAID log including key Decisions. You can model the state workflow, assign owners, log commentary/updates, link to JIRA tickets, and filter by program/initiative/area.  JIRA would be better but that requires broader customization and buy-in, so Databases are a good start and better than Tables or Excel
