I am about to upgrade my plan form free to standard. The option is for individual and for the team. What is the difference? I want to have a standard plan where I can add dev teams on different projects, one dev may be working on different projects and I would have multiple teams and multiple projects.
It seems as if the plan is upgraded for the team, it can not be used for other teams. Is that true?
If I upgrade for the individual, can it be used for multiple teams and multiple projects?
Hi Muhammad, the Standard plan means the same for both of them, the difference mainly resides in the kind of account you choose.
In an individual account, you're the only administrator, although you can grant other users with admin permissions to your repositories (they won't become admins for the account, only for the specific repository). There are no projects in individual accounts.
In a team account, you can have more than one admin and the repositories can be grouped into projects. The rest is the same as in an individual account: you can have up to 5 other users (each user require an individual bitbucket account) with access to the repos in the team. For more info you can read How teams work and Teams Frequently Asked Questions.
The Standard plan is only valid for the account (individual or team) where you have enabled it. It can not be extended to other accounts, if you have both an individual account and a Team account and you want more than 5 users in each of them, you'll need to upgrade to Standard in both of them.
I hope this clarifies your questions, Muhammad. Let us know if this is clear and if you need any further assistance, we're happy to help :)
Kind regards,
Ana
