When adding a friend who I've collaborated with before read-only on a repo I get the message "You've exceeded your user limit for MattPayneOrg, restricting all your repositories to read-only access. Change your plan to restore write access."

I'm confused.  How can this be fixed, other than paying you money?

Hi Matt, welcome to the Community.

If you're on the Free plan and already have 5 users with access to your account, you won't be able to add a new one unless you revoke access from one of the previous users. If you need more than 5, then you'll have to upgrade to a Standard account, with a cost of $2/user/month. You can see this at Bitbucket Cloud pricing.

'Read-only' access also counts as access, so that user will count towards your plan.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

Kind regards,

Ana
