Hello I followed these instructions
https:// support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/set-up-personal-ssh-keys-on-windows/
and using windows gitbash option, when I put this command in my command line and user directory:
c:\users\bn1982>ssh-add .ssh/{ssh-key-name}
doesn't work and throws me this error:
Error connecting to agent: No such file or directory
I tried several variations of path but none worked
This issue could be caused by the SSH-Agent not actually running, rather than a path issue.
This article may prove useful for you - as this user has a very similar problem as yourself:
As you are a Premium subscriber - if the issue is still not resolved - you'll need to raise a ticket for direct assistance with our support team, as troubleshooting SSH requires log sharing and this would not be appropriate on a public forum such as Community:

Thank you Ben
The reason was that I did it via normal windows terminal, not Bash terminal. Instructions were pretty unclear.
However after additional step I again encountered another issue. I was able to start ssh agent, generate key and add it to ssh agent. Then I registered public key to bitbucket according instructions.
But step with ssh authentication via this command didn't work:
bn1982@SKLSP1006 MINGW64 /c/users/bn1982/.ssh
$ ssh -T git@bitbucket.org
I got error message:
ssh: connect to host bitbucket.org port 22: Network is unreachable

Hi Branislav,
Thank you for the update. We'll need to take a look at verbose log outputs to determine at which stage the failure is occurring, these will need to be shared privately as they contain sensitive data:
Please let me know if you encounter any issues raising a ticket and I will raise one on your behalf - make sure you include your timezone so that I can raise one with the team that operates within your region.
Cheers!

Hi Branislav,
The data restriction should not prevent you from raising a ticket - it would just prevent us from accessing your JIRA site (which is not needed for the purposes of Bitbucket troubleshooting).
I have raised a ticket on your behalf with our team in your region, please check your email for further correspondence.
Cheers!
