I asked why I can no longer search & watch BitBucket.org repositores and was told the user interface (UI) changed (got worse) and asked a technical term 'use case' to give one of those, which I think is obvious, and shouldn't be necessary, and not everyone knows what 'use case' is. My only use case is to find, follow, check, and get updates on others' projects (same as most do on GitHub & GitLab with no problems). I don't use 'workspaces', and don't plan to, and don't know what they are. If I have to take extra time to switch to 'workspaces' of every single of several/many projects I follow, that makes BitBucket too difficult/time-consuming and maybe pointless to use. It should be simple for users who don't have projects--only follow them--to quickly find all projects without more than one UI step, or preferably zero steps such as already-visible in a frontpage location/sidebar.
Hi @dchmelik,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. I understand that the changed navigation makes it difficult to find the repos you are watching if you are not a member of their workspaces.
I went ahead and raised a request in our issue tracker for what you are asking:
I would suggest adding your vote to that request (by selecting the Vote for this issue link) to express your interest, as the number of votes helps our product managers better understand the demand for features. You are more than welcome to leave any feedback, and you can also add yourself as a watcher (by selecting the Start watching this issue link) if you'd like to get notified via email on updates.
Implementation of features is done as per our policy here and any updates will be posted in the feature request.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Kind regards,
Theodora
