My customer wonders if the official docker image is supported by Atlassian when being deployed and run in Production on OpenShift Container Platform.
We have built the official Dockerfile in order to support OpenShift, where containers cannot be run as root. The change was simple and straightforward.
Nevertheless, there are many doubts regarding this approach. Some of us understand that Dockerfiles are not supported by Atlassian (including the official bitbucket Dockerfile with a simple change to become OpenShift compliant).
After reading several documents at Atlassian we don't see any significant information regarding this issue, Apparently, official images are prepared to be run in Production without any disclaimer.
Could anyone provide extra information regarding this topic?
