git push fails in VS but works on command line

I recently added a user to BitBucket for use in the API (read only). If I log in to BB with this account, then switch back to my own account, VS complains when I try to push (but pull ok). Using git command line works fine. The username and email are set up correctly in VS remote settings for my own account. I tried using sync but dont get a credentials prompt.

You can make it work by deleting the git entry in Windows credentials but still a bit inconvenient. VS doesn't seem to cope with switching users.
