a bug using SCP in pipelines

Hello
in pipelines i have following script:

 - step:
  name: Deploy artifacts using SCP to STAGE
  deployment: staging
  script:
  - pipe: atlassian/scp-deploy:1.1.0
    variables:
      USER: bitbucket
      SERVER: x.x.x.x
      REMOTE_PATH: '<my path>'
      LOCAL_PATH: '<local path>'

i have atlassian/scp-deploy:1.1.0 downloaded properly, but BB thinks it's not OK and stops pipeline.
What should i do to make it work?

Could you please add DEBUG: 'true' in the pipe variables, as follows:

- pipe: atlassian/scp-deploy:1.1.0
  variables:
    USER: bitbucket
    SERVER: x.x.x.x
    REMOTE_PATH: '<my path>'
    LOCAL_PATH: '<local path>'
    DEBUG: 'true'

and then copy-paste here the full output of the pipe (after you remove any sensitive/private info from the output), so we can have a look?
