Hi,
I wanted to try bitbucket on the free plan.
I created (or so i thought i did) a bitbucket workspace, but the workspace doesn't exist and when I try to create the same space again, it now says it's taken.
In more detail:
I created the workspace via the wizard https://www.atlassian.com/try/cloud/signup?bundle=bitbucket
It started doing it's thing and after a while i was redirected to a 404 page, saying resource not found.
When i try to access it like: bitbucket.org/<my_workspace_name> (takes me to the same 404 page where i see resource not found)
When i go to the wizard to try and create the same space again, now it says
Hi @0nlyDev
It looks like the workspace ID might have been reserved (allocated) during signup, but some part of the setup failed (database, permissions, UI linking) so the workspace never fully materialized. The system “knows” that the ID is taken, but you don’t have a usable workspace.
Maybe those KB articles might help?

or maybe @Theodora Boudale you might help to troubleshoot since it looks similar to this case..

OK, I requested assistance on this. Hopefully we would get some help since it requires checking what is connected with your account etc.

I am not sure if Atlassian support did something in the meanwhile or it it was the waiting, but I now have access to the workspace i created.
@Mirek thanks for the assistance anyways <3 - we can consider this issue resolved.
Ty!

Hi @0nlyDev,
Welcome to the community.
We encountered a brief issue during the workspace creation process, which has now been fully resolved. You should be able to access the workspace without any issues.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and your team.
If you need more help, please reply to this post and we'll look into the issue further.
Regards,
Mark C
