We use the Pull Request Notification plugin in Bitbucket Server. This plugin is very critical for us. If some aspect of it stops working, we are severely handicapped until we can get issues resolved.
Having a community of third-party plugins is great until the single maintainer of a plugin goes away for an indeterminate time. I've talked with the author of the PRN plugin a few times, and we were able to work through issues.
Several weeks ago, this plugin apparently stopped handling OPENED and RESCOPED_FROM events (but BUTTON_TRIGGER is working fine, for a workaround). It took me a while to figure out exactly what was (not) happening. I created an issue describing the problem five days ago. I've yet to hear or see any update on this.
I'd appreciate any community feedback on my problem, but I'm also wondering if Atlassian ever takes plugins "in house" if they are particularly critical.
I've managed to resolve the issue that led to this question, with the help of the plugin author, but I'm still wondering about future plans for critical functionality like this.
