Why are files missing from bitbucket after pushing from sourcetree?

Ryan J. Decker February 11, 2019
When I push from sourcetree, not all of the files from my local repository are shown on the bitbucket repository online.

Then when people try to download the repository zip file via the public download link, they get only those files from the incomplete bitbucket repository.

There are no errors.

Hello Ryan,

When pushing files from Sourcetree, unless excluded, they should be sent to Bitbucket. With this said, DLL and EXE file types may not make the push due to the file type. Something to check would be to ensure you have no excluded to file types. Please review your .gitignore and .gitignore_global files to ensure no exclusion are in place. More on .gitignore at https://git-scm.com/docs/gitignore.

If your files or file types are not excluded, would you please let us know what type of file they are and their relative sizes?

We look forward to your response.

Regards,
Stephen Sifers
