Hi

I am getting this error trying to clone a repository which i have created.

Tried the following

1. Using embedded git - doesnt sovle the problem. When i try to clone it gives me login prompt [two times] and doesnt solve the issue

2. Used System git - this also did not resolve the issue

Following is the details given when it fails:

Error: Logon failed, use ctrl+c to cancel basic credential prompt.

Hi Venkata, welcome to the Community!

The repository you're trying to clone, does it belong to an individual account or to a team account? If it belongs to a Team account or a managed account (like a Google account, for example) you'll need to use an App password to log in. You can find the instructions at App passwords

If you're trying to clone from your individual Bitbucket account, please double check that you're using the right credentials and send us a screenshot of the error you get so we can continue helping you.

Kind regards!

Ana
