I’m trying to improve accuracy in my construction quantity takeoff but I often run into challenges. Sometimes I miss smaller items, and other times the numbers don’t align with the actual site conditions.
For those with experience do you find manual methods more reliable, or do you prefer using software/tools for this? Also, is outsourcing quantity takeoff worth it in terms of saving time and avoiding costly mistakes?
