We have an inhouse maven repository which we can expose to cloud bitbucket pipeline. But instead of copying the .settings file to $home/.m2 directory is there any other better way of maybe mentioning some env variables etc.
You can try referencing your internal maven repositories in your pom.xml. See https://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-multiple-repositories.html for an example. They describe using either settings.xml, or the pom.xml to declare your repositories.
