I am tryin to use visual studio code with the above documentation. But i cant pass the password step.
Password is absolutely true cuz i tried it with netbeans with the same ctrl+v(password)
and it worked easily. The problem is i dont want to use netbeans. So what can be the problem ?
I tried to run cmd as administrator no success
I tried to create another repository with mercurial, no success.
I tried remove netbeans all the other IDE and mercurial with tortoise i mean somethin like that, i removed all of them and tried again but no success again.
Please help...
Hi Yasin, welcome to the Community :)
I'm not sure if I get what the problem is. If my understanding is correct you're trying to bring your mercurial repositories to Bitbucket Cloud but you're having trouble in the password step. For clarity, can you confirm you're referring to this step:
8. Enter your Bitbucket password when the terminal asks for it. If you created an account by linking to Google, use your password for that account.
Can you confirm you're using your Bitbucket Cloud password (or your Google password if your account is linked to Google)? Are you getting any error message in the command line? You can verify that you're using the right password by trying to log in to bitbucket.com.
If that's not the issue you're having, please elaborate your description a bit more and post some screenshots so we can understand the problem better.
Kind regards!
Ana
Hi Ana, Thank you :)
I am a little away from bitbucket and mercurial for now. But i absolutely remember i tried both passwords . Cuz the problem is only about terminal method.
When i tried to use netbeans(IDE) with its own interface without terminal, it's being working so simple.
What i dont want is using NetBeans. I want to use Visual Studio Code or Atom .
I also tried extensions for both of the softwares. But they are more problematic then the terminal.
The only problem is terminal cannot authorize me. Thank you for your interest :)
