Using Bitbucket with OSX 10.7.5 Lion

I am on a Mid 2011 Mac running OSX 10.7.5 Lion and am limited to git version 1.8.4.2. When I try to clone my Bitbucket Repo, I get the following error:

fatal: unable to access 'https://user@bitbucket.org/exploratorium/repo.git/': error:14077410:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:sslv3 alert handshake failure

What is  the path to cloning my repo on this machine?

Hi Jill, welcome to the Community!

Which Sourcetree version do you have? Are you using System Git or Embedded Git? You can try switching from one to the other and see if the error goes away. 

Another thing you can try is going to Tools > Options > Git, and check Disable SSL Certificate validation.
