Hello Atlassian Support,
I am the administrator of a Bitbucket Cloud workspace and I urgently need assistance recovering historical data from the legacy Bitbucket Issue Tracker.
We had important project information stored in Issues, including issue descriptions, comments, discussions, and other project-related data.
We were not aware that access to this data would become unavailable after the Bitbucket Issues sunset on August 20, 2026, and unfortunately we did not export the Issues to a ZIP file before the deadline.
The information stored there is important to our business and ongoing development.
Could you please check whether the legacy Issues data for our workspace/repository still exists in any form, including backups, retained backend data, snapshots, or internal storage, and whether Atlassian can provide us with an export or temporarily restore access so that we can retrieve it?
Hello and welcome to Atlassian Community @Andrew Konovalenko
I requested assistance. That's beyond something that we as Community members can answer.
Best,
Arek 🤠
I faced the same problem. How do I open a support request? I was trying to that but first I had to fight with AI bot which isn't really helpful :) Then after answering a few question the page directed me here. So fay I haven't seen any way to submit a ticket.
Dzięki z góry Arek :)
