Unable to sync a fork

My coworker forked my repository. However, after I post a commit to my parent repo, their fork does not see the change and the "Sync" button is not visible. Forks are allowed in my repo.

Hi @gnedin and welcome to the community!

Did you push this commits to the repo's main branch, or a different one?

You can double-check which branch is the main one from Repository settings > Repository details > select ADVANCED and you'll see the Main branch listed there.

The sync button will show only if there are changes on the repo's main branch.
