I recently added a new user to our Bitbucket workspace to provide access to a repository. However, he is unable to log in. When he tries, he is prompted to enter a two-step verification (2FA) code, but he never received a QR code while accepting the invitation.

I tried removing and re-adding the user, but the issue persists. As an admin, I cannot find any option in the Bitbucket console to disable 2FA for a specific user.

Could you please guide me on how to resolve this and ensure the user can access the repository?

Hi Saurabh,

Welcome to the community!

I've checked the workspaces you have access to, and the workspace you have access to is on a Premium plan that requires users to enable two-step verification to access the workspace.

It's not possible to disable the two-step verification requirement for certain users. The two-step verification requirement is all or nothing.

The user you invited will need to enable two-step verification to access the workspace.

I hope this helps.

- Phil
