Hi,
I’m an organization admin trying to create our first shared Bitbucket workspace for my organization (we currently only use a personal workspace owned by a member). I’ve followed the official steps in Atlassian Administration:
Go to admin.atlassian.com and log in as an organization admin.
Select the Apps tab and click Add app.
Choose Bitbucket, enter a unique workspace name, and click Agree and add.
However, every time I try, I get the error:
“We're unable to add this app. Try again. If this keeps happening, contact support.”
The workspace ID I’m trying to use is not already taken.
There are no existing shared workspaces in our organization.
I don’t see any prompts to request access or grant permissions.
We are on the free Bitbucket Cloud plan, so I can’t submit a support ticket.
Has anyone else experienced this or found a solution?
Thanks!
The reason you can't create the workspace could be that your organisation is not compatible (the organisation needs to be the centralized user management experience) - in which case you'd need to create a new org first:
Can you try this for me and let me know how it goes?
Cheers!
- Ben (Bitbucket Cloud Support)
Hi @Ben
I resolved the issue, there was a capitalized letter in the workspace name.
Sorry and thank you!
