Unable to Create Shared Bitbucket Workspace

Hi,

I’m an organization admin trying to create our first shared Bitbucket workspace for my organization (we currently only use a personal workspace owned by a member). I’ve followed the official steps in Atlassian Administration:

  1. Go to admin.atlassian.com and log in as an organization admin.

  2. Select the Apps tab and click Add app.

  3. Choose Bitbucket, enter a unique workspace name, and click Agree and add.

However, every time I try, I get the error:
“We're unable to add this app. Try again. If this keeps happening, contact support.”

  • The workspace ID I’m trying to use is not already taken.

  • There are no existing shared workspaces in our organization.

  • I don’t see any prompts to request access or grant permissions.

  • We are on the free Bitbucket Cloud plan, so I can’t submit a support ticket.

Has anyone else experienced this or found a solution?
