I would like to suggest to keep the downloads feature, but include it into overall workspace size.
The lack of downloads (at that time) was the reason why i had to use Bitbucket instead of Github. Now it seems that situation has reversed.
Sometimes it's really needed, for instance if you build packages for embedded Linux: it's much more convenient to have a package available in downloads instead of making folks to build that package by themselves.
It's not really a big deal, as i don't need downloads anymore. Just wanted to point this out.
I hope it will turn out okay. Good luck.
Hi Aleksey,
Thank you for reaching out.
The Downloads page will continue to exist for downloading zip files of the source code, however, any content outside of the core functionality will be removed. Additionally, it will not be possible to upload any new files.
If users need to save some artifacts, they can either upgrade to a paid billing plan (which will allow them to add files to the Downloads page) or they can use a 3rd party artifact management service instead.
Kind regards,
Theodora
