My office is looking for a content management tool similar to what Microsoft's Sharepoint, which is capable to share documents with permissions control among people in the office. The purpose is NOT meant for developers to do versioning of the code, it is mainly for documentation, purchase orders etc.
We are using Jira, Confluence, Hipchat in the office.
Is Stach the tool we should look into ? If not, which is the tool we should look into ?
Thanks in advance.
Great question. Stash would not be an appropriate tool for this; developer tools like this wouldn't have a good user interface for your likely demographic.
The solution depends on the requirements. We're an Atlassian Gold Solution Partner and this is the kind of strategic choices we can help with.
Our team would likely look at suggesting a solution using Jira or Confluence and one or more add-ons, depending on the use cases and the types and numbers of likely files. You can look at "file management" in the Atlassian marketplace, or we'd be happy to discuss this on a call! You can contact us at www.hypervelocityconsulting.com
Thank for the reply. Yes, I would like to explore further on a product which can do Content Management.
