On Bitbucket plans FAQ there is a note:
"If you're on the Free plan and the number of users with access to your private repositories goes over 5, access becomes read-only until you upgrade your account or remove users from a group or individual repositories. You and other repository administrators still have access to the repository."
What does "access becomes read-only" mean? Write access to repo for all users, or only for new users?
For example: I'm planning a private repo that will include in the beginning: one admin (me), two users with write permission (User1 and User2) and let's say 7 users with read permission. ($20 for 10 users, permissions doesn't matter - right?)
What exactly happens if I miss the payment? All users (what about second admin, if I'll add someone?) moving to read access, or locking out of repo? Will it recover access settings after successfull payment, or should I re-set permissions? Any other potential issues?
Hi Denis,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community.
"access becomes read-only" means that all users will only have read-only access to the repositories until you either remove users or pay to go to the next subscription level.
