I'm on a free plan. Some of my repositories are disappeared. According to one of the latest newsletter I got on 16th of December I still had 6 months to either pay for a plan or do some activity to prevent the deletion in my workspaces.
Hi @csabafarago
As @Gunjan Kumar mentioned - the cleanup was related to unused workspaces, rather than individual repositories within those workspaces. This is not a process that is planned to happen again, and is intended as a one-off operation.
I can see you have access to 3 workspaces, all of them are active and have repositories associated with them. There are no pending or processed repository deletions in the last 30 days either.
I would suggest checking your workspace list and viewing all of these to check for missing data:
Cheers!

I really appreciate your answer. So sorry I think I got confused because of the UI so the repositories are not visible under "For you" page when I switch namespace it just have a create new repository button but all of those are there under the repository tab.
Either way, I might consider signing up! Thanks!

Hi csabafarago, Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Bitbucket does not delete repositories simply because they are inactive on the free plan. However, Atlassian is cleaning up unused free workspaces. If a workspace is inactive for a long period and not reactivated after warnings, the entire workspace (and all repositories inside it) may be deleted.
Official Atlassian notice:
In short: repositories are safe as long as the workspace remains active.
