Securing Repository Contents

Hi, we are looking into migrating multiple legacy SVN repositories to Bitbucket. One of the major concerns for some people in the company is to retain strict confidentiality of certain code areas.

I have tried to find information in the Bitbucket documentation on how to separate access to code from administrative privileges.

ie. Bitbucket server admins and sysadmins should not have access to repository contents. And they should not have a way of granting themselves access to these easily.

I could not find a way to set this up with Bitbucket 6.10 ... it seems that sysadmins automatically have access to all repository sources.

Encrypting the source code seems to defy the Bitbucket features of PRs and Reviews etc. and it may make working with the code from a developer's point of view quite unhandy.

What is your suggested way to solve this problem?

Thanks, Frank Foerster
