Dear BitBucket Support Team,
I am writing to request a manual Garbage Collection (GC) and Size Recalculation for the following repository:
Reason: Recently, I performed a signifficant cleanup of this repository using `git-filter-repo` to remove large files (model weights) from the entire Git history. After the cleanup, I typed a `git push --force` to update all branches.
After that, my local repository size has decreased to approimately 21 MB (the original is 600+MB). However, the BitBucket dashboard still reports a size of over 600+MB. I suspect that the orphaned large objects are still being retained in the server-side cache and have not yet been pruned by the automated system.
Since I am approaching the storage limit for free accounts, could you please help me ?
Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
Best Regards,
Peter
Hey @ShengWen
Welcome to the community!
I have triggered Git GC on the affected repository and the size has been reduced to 20++ MB, could you please verify if this is the expected size?
