Request to Trigger Garbage Collection After Repository Cleanup

I hope you are doing well.

We have recently completed a major cleanup of our repository by removing large tracked files (such as .aar files) using git filter-repo, followed by force-pushing the rewritten history to all branches.

Although the local repository size has been reduced significantly, the workspace storage size still appears high. To fully remove unreferenced objects from the remote repositories, we would like to request a manual garbage collection.

Last two letters of workspace ID: es

Please go ahead and trigger the garbage collection for the repositories in this workspace that our account has access to.

Let me know once the garbage collection has been completed, or if you need any additional details from my side.

I hope you’re well. I can see that the workspace ending with “es” has many repositories. Please let us know which specific repository you’d like us to run manual GC on, so we can proceed accordingly.

Just to note, manual GC is typically recommended after scenarios such as heavy repository churn (for example, mass branch or tag deletions), large pushes, migrations or LFS moves, or when there’s a need to quickly address repository size or performance concerns instead of waiting for scheduled maintenance.

Once you confirm the repository, we’ll take it forward.
