I have two repos that I completly removed all the media files making both of them get less than 68MB together (using git clone).

The problem is that it was not reflected in Bitbucket Repository/Settings/Details that shows 805.25MB and 1.43GB.

What should I do to get this information correct?

Hello @sergio2014 ,

and welcome to the Community!

After cleaning up a repository, it's necessary to run a garbage collection so git will effectively remove the files from the repository. The garbage collection is automatically executed from time to time, but I have manually triggered it on both the repositories you mentioned, and their size was greatly reduced.

Could you check again and let us know if it nows aligns with the size you were expecting ?

Thank you, @sergio2014 !

Now it it is exactly as expected and according to the new Bitbucket rules that will go into effect on April 28, 2025.

Thank you so much Patrik.
