i've got a message "Your workspace has exceeded the 1 GB limit and has been placed in read-only mode. Learn more about upgrading your plan and checking storage usage.". But my repositories are very small. Could you help me?
I can't find large files in repos
<workspace url redacted>
Thanks and best regards
Hi @Vladislav and welcome to the community!
I can see in our system that you have access to a few repos from this workspace. This workspace has other repos that you don't have access to and that contribute to the total workspace storage.
You will need to reach out to the workspace admin and let them know about this issue. The admin will be able to see all repos and each repo's size in the Repositories page of the workspace. The total workspace storage is shown at Workspace settings > Plan details (only accessible by a workspace admin).
The admin can upgrade their billing plan and make use of the 30-day evaluation period in order to restore write access and rewrite history in certain repos to reduce their size (e.g. with BFG repo cleaner). When someone upgrades the billing plan of a workspace to the Standard or Premium plan, we offer a 30-day evaluation; if they downgrade to the Free plan before this period is over, we do not charge them. A temporary pre-authorization hold of USD 10.00 is placed on the credit card upon upgrade, but this will return to the credit card within 3-7 days.
If the admin has any questions, they can reach out in community, either here in your post, or they can create a new question. If they rewrite history in their repos, the repos will need a git gc, we can run it if they ask here or in a new question.
Just a heads up, I removed the workspace URL from your post for privacy reasons.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
Kind regards,
Theodora
I can't see your repos.
What are the size of your cloned repos?
Even if files are small if you have many commits it can be much larger then the total file size of the latest commit. If you have large files in older commits that are deleted in later commits those also count.
