Problem with Login

Hi,

I registered my account quite a while ago using my an email alias. But, after some changes by Atlassian that disallowed email aliases for login, I am stuck with no solution for logging in.

If I try to log in with my primary email account, I receive the "error" that the account is not found.

And if I try to log in with my email alias, it detects that my account is a gmail account and forces me to choose my primary gmail account for login, after which I will receive the "error" that the account is not found.

I also cannot change my email address on Atlassian to the primary email account because it is a Gmail managed account.

Any idea how I can solve this problem?

Hi Sze, welcome to the Community!

I checked the email address associated to your Community account and I could see it's the primary address associated to a Bitbucket account. I've sent you a reset password email, can you try resetting your password and logging in again? If you get any error message please send us a screenshot.

If you were referring to a different email address, please let us know and we'll create a Support ticket for you so you don't need to share your email address publicly.

Thanks very much for your response!

I waited for the reset password email but I still have not received that yet. I am not sure that will solve the problem because it is a problem of the login primary address.

The email address showing as my primary address (both in the Community and Bitbucket accounts) is only an alias, which is where the problem arises. If you can see my email aliases on my Bitbucket account, then the first one with s****4@a**.*** is my actual primary email account.

Could you please change my primary email address to that for me?
